Julie Parrino is experienced in helping nonprofits achieve their fiscal, program and infrastructure goals. For the past 24 years, she has used her innovative and resourceful approach in nonprofit, corporate and educational settings to create and implement effective development strategies. Julie specializes in strategic planning, resource building, board and staff development as well as fundraising. With key expertise in revenue prospecting, grant writing, capital campaign management and donor cultivation and stewardship, Julie is dedicated to helping organizations create financial stability through multiple revenue streams.
Julie’s recent leadership roles have included founding Infinite Learning, a nonprofit enrichment program for elementary and middle school youth and development coordination for numerous nonprofits, including Team Prime Time, Harbor Interfaith Services and Fastbreak Sports. She is an active volunteer in her community, supporting causes that assist children in need. Prior to entering the nonprofit sector, Julie was involved in elementary school education. She continues to be connected to education by teaching multi-discipline curriculum development at CSU Fullerton.
Having moved frequently as a child, Julie calls California home. She graduated from CalPoly Pomona with a B.S. in Social Science and a teaching credential. She obtained an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from University of Santa Monica. Currently, she lives in Redondo Beach, CA with her mountain bike racing husband, her son who will be going away to college in the fall and two slobbery, yet adorable, rescue bulldogs.
