Need some inspiration or a feel good moment? Today we are looking back at some recent #GivingTuesday campaigns we love: from badass dogs to unselfies, these campaigns feature pun-ny language, compelling photos, and time-limited campaigns that compel supporters to give, and give big on #GivingTuesday.
Their designated giving page, Give a Little, Save a Life, was plastered with the faces of sweet animals that will be helped with the money raised from #GivingTuesday. They also offered donors the option to give at 100% and cover the 3% transaction fee charged by Network for Good.
PayPal’s Give to Charity and Create History
PayPal aimed to break a Guinness World Record title for the most amount of money donated online for charity in a 24-hour period, making for a compelling and exciting case. This campaign was both historic and captured the time sensitive nature of #GivingTuesday.
This college’s campaign included a day long live stream broadcast demonstrating how they were going all in as they asked students, alumni, and supporters to do the same. They also offered a social media kit so that supporters could show their Skidmore pride on their social accounts.
This email campaign included a video message in the body of the email explaining how the gifts will be used. It is full of emotion and tugs at the heartstrings of the viewer compelling them to act. Their landing pages also include clear explanations of what each gift amount can go towards, making the giving more tangible for the donor.
This campaign is fun, visual, and invites individuals to get actively involved by posting a photo of them doing good and participating in #GivingTuesday by posting an un-selfie. SMPTE also went a step further by resharing the posts and building on the momentum of each individual share.
