It is critical that all of us be strongly and vocally anti-racist, and work to challenge the subtle, systemic, and systematic ways that discrimination exists throughout our society. The following are ways you can support equality, push for equity, and bring about justice.

We continue to stretch ourselves to learn more about what we don’t know, to learn more about who we’re missing from the table, and to learn more about how the systems we work with operate, but also and most importantly, how we might be unknowingly or unconsciously perpetuate the embedded racism within them.

Since the explosion of rightful outrage at the ongoing police brutality and indifference to the lives of black bodies by the criminal justice system, I have spent more time reflecting on what it means to be a white woman and how I contribute to white supremacy.
